Philosophy Is The Ultimate Love For Wisdom - 1524 Words

In this essay I will try to explain what philosophy is by presenting the point of view of five different philosophers. At first sight trying to find a definition for what philosophy is seem hard but luckily, the answer is already contained in the word itself. In Greek, philo means love and Sophia means wisdom. Therefore, philosophy is the ultimate love for wisdom. It is a process of reflection and makes the attempt of thinking in critical and rational dimensions on the most important questions of life. The love for wisdom and the search for answers to the eternal questions as: Where did everything came from? What is the purpose of life?
